MRM will always do our best to support people to live life as independently as possible.

Supported Independent Living is a type of assistance with daily tasks that help you live as independently as possible while also helping you build your skills that are essential to self-sustained living.  If you are approved for SIL funding in your NDIS Plan it is important to consider whether SIL is the right choice for you.

MRM's SIL options work for you!

As a registered provider MRM is ready and equipped to tailor a comprehensive plan for supports that fit your needs effectively.

Some things to consider as a participant receiving SIL supports

  • Do you want to live in your own home or in a home provided to you by MRM? You have the choice to either live at home and receive SIL supports or you could also elect to live in a MRM SIL home where you would most likely have to share with other participants.

  • What does your current schedule of supports look like? If you are receiving 24 hours support (sleepover included), a SIL would be perfect for you! If you are not receiving 24 hours supports, our team will work hard in developing a direct plan to account for this - ensuring your safety and continuance of supports is prioritised at all times.
